  • What is the point of outdoor home security cameras?

Posted by admin on January 30th, 2010 and filed under home security camera | 7 Comments »

I desperately need security cameras because I don’t feel save at my neighborhood but

there is this bunch of kids of questionable characters hanging next door and

how do I know that they won’t use some stick or rocks to knock down my outdoor security camera?

What about wireless camera? How do I replace batteries? Should I use landwire instead?

You need to get one of these:

They are vandall proof. The cases are hard and can withstand a hammer. Wireless cameras are cool, but aren’t worth the money.

These guys have a pretty good price too. Also, I called, cause I found one camera with a better price, and they beat it for me. The thing you’ll need to know is that you can’t just buy a security camera, you’ll need to buy a DVR or recording device that you can plug them into.

If they damage the cameras you’ll have a tape of who did it.

You need a boyfriend, preferably an inner city lunatic Irish maniac,

don’t bother with cameras, just stomp the ever living **** out of them, especially the knees so they can’t get up, then the fun begins…

Disguise the camera by putting it inside something mildly decorative. A wireless camera would be best in this case. The people who sell you the camera should have a world of ideas about how to disguise a security camera.

Good luck! I’m thinking of getting one, too!

Conceal your cameras in a strategic corner using a camouflage. They’re called covert cameras and give you a fuller view of your intended targets.

If you have a boundary wall or fence around your property perimeter, look for a layer of security around it as well. Exterior security lights are one option for night use.

Wireless video surveillance systems do exist and are very effective for remote monitoring.

Look up covert cameras. Only use wireless if you do not break the law. Signal can be hacked. I would look up motion detector bulb cam or something along those lines

get a big mean dog and use a fake camera. get a gun too. even if you don’t have the heart to shoot someone, it might scare them enough to leave you alone. you could also move to a better place… rural areas are great.
